As many of you may know, Tourism Alliance, of which RDO is a member, is part of the “A Fair Tax on Flying” campaign group which has been working hard to revise Air Passenger Duty in recent months.
As part of this work the group has now launched a new campaign with the goal of encouraging thousands of businesses to sign up to the online petition calling for Air Passenger Duty (APD) to be made fairer.
Now is the time to mobilise the voices of UK businesses, so we need your help. To voice your support, simply click on the following link and register your organisation’s support for revising APD – this will take no more than one minute and it will make all the difference to the campaign.
You can also follow @fairtaxonflying on Twitter to keep up with the latest news and visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/afairtaxonflying – please spread the word to ensure this campaign is a success.
Last year, A Fair Tax on Flying attracted the support of over 200,000 people who took the time to write to their MPs about the controversial tax and voice their opposition to the Airline Passenger Duty levy and emphasise why APD’s high tax rate – compared to other countries – is unfair to Britons, who currently pay the highest levels in Europe.
