Timeshare owners jetting off to their resorts for a spring or summer break can now enjoy free Wi-Fi internet access at London’s Stansted Airport before take-off.
The airport’s users will be able to benefit from up to 60 minutes of free Wi-Fi service, thanks to new owners Manchester Airports Group. The firm purchased Stansted for £1.5 billion in January this year from Heathrow (SP) Ltd (formerly BAA).
At the time, MAG stated that they would “ensure that the airport can fulfil its potential as a high quality alternative London access point for global air travellers.”
Stansted has also confirmed its first new route since it changed hands, with a twice-weekly Air Moldova flight to Chisinau International airport.
Moldova’s national carrier currently operates flights from Gatwick airport and will launch the service on April 29.
