Arco del Saracino in Lido Marini is now part of the portfolio
Arco del Saracino, a resort in the village of Lido Marini in Apuglia (or Puglia as it’s known in Britain) is now part of the Interval International portfolio. The region, famous for its distinctive white pointed “trulli” houses, is located at the “heel” of the boot of Italy. It’s one of the most charming and untouched regions in the country, and the resort is an ideal holiday choice for those keen on savouring the real flavour of the region which has a strong Mediterranean feel to it.
"With its shallow turquoise-sea beaches, marine grottoes, and forest of wind-twisted pines, this part of Italy is reminiscent of Greece," said Darren Ettridge, Interval’s vice president of resort sales and service for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. "While it has long been popular with Italians, remarkably it has remained under the radar among international holidaymakers. Our members will discover the scenic beauty of Lido Marini and the surrounding district of Apulia during their stay at Arco del Saracino."
Guests will find plenty of Mediterranean charm characteristic of the area in the nearby surroundings. The 59 one-bedroom and seven two-bedroom timeshare villas have spacious terraces, air-conditioning, full kitchens, cable/satellite TV, and telephone, and some of the units overlook the pool. There are plenty of places to cool off during the hot Puglia summers, including the large pool and kids’ pool, as well as a large roof garden pizzeria. Other amenities include tennis, live entertainment and maid service.
The resort offers a complimentary shuttle service to a private beach a mile away, where various water sports are on offer, from scuba diving to fishing, while bike and boat rentals are available and a boat trip is an ideal way to see more of the local scenery.
The village of Lido Marini specialises in restaurants featuring locally-caught fresh seafood, regional pasta and pizza specialities and there’s always something going on, with festivals and street fairs with live music and entertainment organised throughout the year.
Luigi Cozza, one of the resort developers, said:”Arco del Saracino provides all the comforts and amenities families need to enjoy a memorable beach vacation and we are very excited to welcome Interval members to our property. We are also pleased to offer our owners the great quality and worldwide scope of Interval International’s exchange network. We think very highly of Interval and its team and are very grateful for the support they have given us.”
Based in Miami, Interval International has 35 years’ experience in the vacation ownership business. The company’s global exchange network spans some 2,600 resorts worldwide, with offices in 14 countries, servicing its growing client base of approximately two million member families.
