Flights and ferries hit by Greek Strikes June 28 and 29

Flights, passenger ferries and trains will be affected by Greece’s 48-hour nationwide strike which starts Tuesday June 28 for 48 hours.

Passengers flying to and from Greece should check with their airlines as all flights entering and leaving Greek airports will be cancelled from 8am till noon and then from 6pm to 10pm on June 28 and 29.

Those heading for the islands face delays, too, as port services will be suspended for the two days including ferries in all parts of the country. Rail services will be suspended and those in the capital, Athens, will have to find other ways to get around as there is no bus or tram service.
