Airlines are warning consumers about some possible delays tomorrow on flights to and from Portugal due to the general strike which is planned.
British Airways has said its flights to Lisbon and Faro should operate as normal, but has not ruled out the possibility of some last-minute delays.
EasyJet reports that the strike will probably affect its flights through Faro, Funchal and Lisbon although the airline said flights to Oporto will operate as planned. To keep updated on the latest developments, EasyJet recommends customers keep checking its website which will be updated later today.
The strike will also affect public transport – including trains and buses – in Portugal , so passengers should allow plenty of time to travel to the airport to avoid complications.
