Ever wondered what the world’s most Instagrammed cities, beaches and landmarks are? According to one social media site which compiled a list of the most popular cities, these are the urban travel hot spots that got shared via Instagram more than any others last year – and not surprisingly, there are a more than a few famous American favourites on this list!

Disneyland in Anaheim (California), USA
Timeshare favourite Disneyland has to be one of the happiest places on the planet, so it’s no surprise that this was the most Instagrammed tourism destination of last year. Head to the huge tea cups to take snaps of Instagram’s most popular ride.
Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, USA
Dodger fans must be snap happy – the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles came cruising in at number two on the list.
Times Square in New York, USA
One of the busiest places in the City that Never Sleeps, this classic landmark is perfect for taking photos in. In fact, we’re surprised that it didn’t come higher up on the list.
Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand
This incredible mega mall really and truly is the place to shop in Asia – it has to be seen to be believed. It boasts over 250 shops, making it a shopaholic’s paradise. It’s even home to a 16-screen Cineplex and Southeast Asia’s largest aquarium.
Gorky Park in Moscow, Russia
Gorky Park is an urban paradise complete with lounge chairs, ping-pong tables and rides. It also offers free Wi-Fi – so you can snap and upload straight to Instagram.
Louvre Museum, Paris, France
Surprisingly the only destination in Europe to make it to the list, and even more surprisingly, the Musee de Louvre beat the city’s most famous icon the Eiffel Tower.
Red Square, Moscow, Russia
Another hotspot from Russia, the city’s beautiful Red Square is a photographer’s dream thanks to the colourful Saint Basil’s Cathedral. Who needs a filter?
Madison Square Garden in New York, USA
With shows performed by Billy Joel, The Who, Stevie Wonder and more, it comes as no surprise that this concert and sporting venue crept its way into the top ten.
Yankee Stadium in New York, USA

The Dubai Mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Another shopping mall makes it on to the shortlist! The Dubai Mall is one of the world’s largest and features a 25 metre-wide multi-media dome, an Olympic size ice-rink and the world’s largest aquarium featuring over 33,000 living animals.
