Essex Holiday Delights Highlighted

Holidaymakers, such as timeshare users, often overlook what is on their own doorstep, with Essex being one notable highlight in the UK, it has been said.

Paul Gogarty, travel writer and author of the Coast Road, told the Daily Telegraph that Essex is home to a particularly stunning coastline as well as St Peter Ad Muram - an eighth-century Saxon chapel, which stands like it did on the day it was constructed.

He said that the chapel is remarkable and revealed that those who look for places off the beaten track in the UK will be pleased with the outcome, adding that many of the best sites can be visited free of charge.

According to the Resort Development Organisation, there are 238 timeshare resorts in the UK and Ireland, located in some of the most beautiful parts of both countries.

VisitEngland recently revealed that 63 per cent of Brits expect to take an English break or holiday in the next year.
