Timeshare in Florida USA

The door of our travelling dreams opened two years ago when we decided to buy our timeshare. We heard a lot from others, both positive and negative, but we decided to make our own opinion.

In general, we were pleased with our previous vacations in several large hotels, some of which were all inclusive. The hotel’s facilities were beyond our expectations. Thus, it was something more that seductive to own such a room, even if it was only for one week per year. This year we dared to take a long distant journey. We wished to have the chance to use our timeshare outside of Greece. So, we visited Florida in the USA.

Everything was ready; accommodation, flight tickets, car hire, all with the assistance of the polite and helpful RCI employees. We will never forget how we felt when we first saw our apartment. We had a lake-view room, like a post card; ducks playing in the water, squirrels climbing on the trees, our presence magnetized their look, and birds singing their tune with the freedom and the nature around as the conductor.

Everything was fabulous

The apartment had spacious and clean rooms with all the comforts of home. The grounds were full of splendid gardens, swimming-pools and lakes that we couldn’t take our eyes away from. Everything was fabulous. Our children were enthusiastic; a playground, swimming-pools, games room next to the swimming-pool, tennis court and a mini golf made them think about what to choose first. Games in the swimming-pool with an animator, Bingo with beautiful gifts - we had our amusement to keep us company for the whole trip. More facilities; a market place with the all necessary products in good prices, Cascades Bar and Grill with view of the swimming-pool, main activity centre with a plethora of games for kids and grownups as well. Also we had the chance to watch some of the Olympics games.

In the hotel we booked our tickets for the fairy tale world; where we become children again far away from the world of the grownups. In Disney World, all of the children’s beloved heroes ran to hug them and take an autograph as well: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Ariel, Pocahontas, Donald Duck, Goofy, and the characters from Star Wars.

Unforgettable nights

It’s difficult to describe in words our experiences. There is only one thing I can tell for sure that our dreams came true; a dream that we will never forget.

During the night we watched a choreographed firework display. These nights will remain unforgettable. The best show was the Fantasmic where Mickey had to fight the Dragon. When the Dragon wins, Mickey gathers all his power and screams “It’s my dream” then he extinguishes the fire with the power of the water. The people of Disney convert fireworks into art. Then we visited Universal Studios, full of more heroes: Spiderman, Hulk, and Scooby Doo! The roller coasters and the adventure had no end . . .

Next we entered Bush Gardens and more roller coasters, Aquatic, Wet and Wild; everything was amazing.

In Cape Canaveral, we “travelled” up to the stars and became astronauts. We were able to enter a spacecraft and even touch a piece from the moon . . . "Mum, No one will believe us" my seven years old daughter told me when I explained her what she has touched. Everything was magically beautiful. 1800 photos are “proof” of the magic and the beauty we experienced on our holidays. It’s difficult to describe in words our experiences.

There is only one thing I can tell for sure that our dreams came true; a dream that we will never forget.
