Many holidaymakers will most likely be considering where to spend their Christmas holidays, while others will have decided already.

Now, bmibaby has put out a number of suggestions where holidaymakers can head to if they haven't made their choice yet, with Belfast one place holding a top festive event in December.

The Christmas Continental Market held at Belfast City Hall grounds sees numerous stalls set up, offering goods such as food and decorations from across Europe.

Last year, over 750,000 people paid a trip to the market and this year it could be even bigger, according to Belfast City Council.

The market opened on November 17th and will last until December 19th, with highlights including Bratwurst sausages and German beers as well as sweets and cake.

Another place that bmibaby suggested heading to was Alicante for Festitíteres, an annual international puppet festival that runs from November 29th until December 8th.
