Taking the path to Tenerife this Winter

British holidaymakers, including timeshare owners, are increasingly flocking to warmer resorts in a bid to escape the winter weather, according to an online travel agent.

Research by On The Beach reveals that the Canary Island of Tenerife is one of the third most popular locations, with others including the USA and the Caribbean.

And Brits are looking to stay in their favourite holiday destinations longer, with the average trip now lasting nine nights, up from seven last year.

Jayne Nuttall of Travel Counsellors said that Tenerife in general is more upmarket than the other Canary Islands and has more four and five-star and deluxe properties as well as a hot climate all year round.

RDO member Resort Properties has a number of different resorts and timeshare rentals in Tenerife, giving timeshare owners plenty of choice if they want to head to the Canary Islands for their next holiday.
