Dubai: Property on the Rise

Dubai has remained a favourite destination among Brits, and this has led to a boom in the region's property market, according to a foreign property estate agent.

The country has remained popular with British holidaymakers and timeshare investors as figures show Dubai is one of the top winter sun destinations for Brits.

Property prices in the region have also increased and Giles Beswick, director at Select Property said that this is partly due to an increased interest in Dubai from Brits.

He went on to say that while European destinations will always be popular among Brits, the high standard of living and the favourable exchange rates in Dubai have increased the number of tourists relocating to the country.

The latest Colliers International house price index show that property prices in Dubai increased by seven per cent in the third quarter of the year.
