September sees a new "Baby Bookings Boom" for 2015 Timeshare Holidays

September may well become the new January when it comes to families with younger children booking ahead for their next summer holiday, with some holiday specialists reporting an increase of up to 21% on early bookings last week, for next year’s peak season summer dates.

Meanwhile, a BBC survey has shown a 70% increase in schools enforcing fines for unapproved absences, making it even more important to book well ahead for holidays that fall during peak (school holiday) periods.

With more national outcry surrounding children being taken out of school for holidays than ever before, the pressure is on to get a good reservation for July and August 2015, as popular destinations and resorts can fill up quickly, with many families vying for the same peak summer or Christmas dates to comply with the new tougher rules about school holiday windows.

The same applies to timeshare – the earlier you can lock in your reservation dates, the better both choice and availability will be, although some timeshare developers such as Swiss brand Hapimag offer last minute breaks, too.

Although the new ‘September Stampede’ is not as intense as the traditional January booking rush, September looks likely to become the new January now that parents may well be penalized for taking their children out of school during term time.
