There’s excellent news for Irish timeshare owners this week as Ryanair has released its Dublin winter 2014 schedule, showing 7 new routes and additional flights across some 21 existing routes, as well.
The airline says this expansion will mean Dublin Airport should be welcoming around 800,000 more passengers, tempted by the new destinations, over the winter months.
“Ryanair is the first Irish carrier to launch its Dublin 2014 winter schedule, with seven new routes to Basel, Bucharest, Cologne, Lisbon, Marrakesh, Nice and Prague, as well as increased frequencies on 21 business routes, all of which go on sale on the Ryanair.com website from today,” the carrier announced.
Ryanair has been in the news recently following confirmation that it is now allowing a second free carry-on bag (hand bags no longer have to fit into the one carry-on cabin bag), and it has also introduced allocated seating.
It says more enhancements to its services will be announced during the coming months.
Marrakech – like Nice – looks likely to be one of the most popular new destinations, with average winter temperatures in this part of Morocco usually in the 20s during winter, accompanied by almost guaranteed winter sunshine – not to mention its superb shopping and top class hotels, all a relatively short flight time from Dublin.
Meanwhile, Lisbon looks set to be a popular city break choice for spring and autumn, while honeymoon favourite Prague will be a welcome addition to the new service schedule, too.
