Leading hotelier Ritz-Carlton, which also runs the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Destination Club http://www.ritzcarltonclub.com/ has unveiled plans to open a number of new properties by 2016.
The brand says it aims to bring the total number of properties in its portfolio to 100 hotels and resorts across the world and the latest properties will be built in tourism hotspots including Morocco, Japan, Israel and India.

“We are delighted at the company’s continued positive growth. Across the globe, and especially in Asia and the Middle East, we will be the undisputed top-tier luxury hospitality brand by 2016.”
In the last 12 months, Ritz-Carlton has opened three new properties, including Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, the Ritz-Carlton in Abu Dhabi, and the brand’s first hotel in the European city of Vienna in Austria.
Six new Ritz-Carlton hotels are also scheduled to open this year, including two properties in China and The Ritz-Carlton in Aruba.
The luxury brand will bring its logo to three new countries with The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya, Israel; The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty in Kazakhstan and The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore in India.
2014 openings will include a record number of new properties in destinations including Kyoto, Japan; Nanjing, China; Rabat, Morocco; Cairo, Egypt; Manesar, India and Bali, Indonesia.
