RCI opens Instagram window on its world

RCI is passionate about building and supporting online communities for people who love travel and their holidays, and want to share top travel tips and stories about staying and playing in their favourite places, which is why RCI has launched another social window for sharing.

Following the success of facebook.com/rcieuro, which has a community of 435,000+ committed travellers, the global holiday exchange provider has now launched an Instagram page – Instagram.com/rcieurope – for everyone who is excited by the wonders of world travel. The new Instagram page is dedicated to European travellers and is part of a growing number of RCI online holiday sharing platforms. You don’t have to be an RCI member to take a look to see which fabulous destinations around the world RCI members and others are enjoying, or to share your own insights into some of the most memorable places you have visited on your travels.

“Instagram is a great way to capture all your magic holiday moments and to bring them into the lives of your family and friends, as you live them, by sharing through this fun and vibrant social window on your world,” says Mitch Davis, Social Media Executive for RCI Europe. “Plus its simple edit and filter tools give everyone’s photos a polished and professional look.”

From single and multiple pictures to video clips – you can record those special times any way you want to for Instagram. If you especially like the thinking of any of the Instagram community, you can follow them to be sure you see more of their news and views. Send private messages to your friends and build new relationships with people who care about the things you do, and spread your love of travel using the ease of sharing between Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

“Many of our posts are in the moment images, others are awe-inspiring iconic locations,” explains Mitch. “Whether the pictures simply shout about the pure joy of being away on a fabulous holiday, celebrate different cultures, share a joke or funny moment, or provide great facts about a destination, the important thing is that we can all learn more about the places we love, and open our eyes to those shores, mountains and lakes we have yet to discover. Our Instagram community is populated by people who love all the things you do about exploring the world in every which way you can do it. It’s more fun if you let them travel with you.”

Why not follow RCI through a world of holidays. Fresh posts go up throughout the week on both facebook.com/rcieuro and Instagram.com/rcieurope. If you’re an RCI member, be sure to use your own Instagram name in your post, together with the hashtag #RCIFriends to make sure your fellow RCI members get to share your travel news and ideas and you can help RCI to build a place for you to go when looking for holiday inspiration and like-minded travellers can share your amazing journeys.
