India is said to be a hot prospect for timeshare.
India is emerging as a top timeshare destination, according to Dimitris Manikis, senior vice-president of business development in Europe at RCI.
The nation’s timeshare industry has been established for some time but now there are opportunities for developers to get in there and enter the market, Mr Manikis commented.
There are even synergies between timeshare and the Indian way of life as they are both family-orientated, he stated.
Mr Manikis asserted that timeshare properties are often very spacious and lend themselves very well to family holidays. India is also home to a great climate as well, with splendid weather throughout the year as well as wonderful scenery and a great variety of attractions, he said.
The RCI employee pointed to one resort in particular, Club Mahindra, adding that it offers everything a timeshare owner would want.
Last year, RCI affiliated the Solluna Resort, located in India’s largest wildlife sanctuary, Jim Corbett National Park, in Uttarakhand.
