New to the shared ownership industry, Tau Resorts has joined the exchange network of Interval International. Both resorts enjoy stunning locations and will offer guests a chance to explore the rich history, culture and natural beauty both destinations have to offer.
Tau nahui is the first beachfront shared ownership project in the portfolio. It’s part of aa 2,100-acre mixed-use community located along a three mile stretch of coastline on Banderas Bay, north of one of Mexico’s best-known destinations, Puerto Vallarta.
The resort will have 168 two-bedroom units, with its initial phase scheduled for occupancy by early 2011 and each unit will include elegant contemporary furnishings crafted of fine wood, state-of-the-art appliances and electronics, and a spacious terrace. Two more phases have been scheduled for completion by the end of 2012. The overall vision is for 450 private residences and a 100-room hotel.
Owners and guests at Tau nahui will get to enjoy their own private beach club and water sports centre on Playa Destilederas, an 18-hole golf course, and miles of hiking trails. Pueblo nahui, a pedestrian village that offers restaurants, shops, cafés, entertainment venues, and cultural activities is also part of the resort’s varied amenities.
The second resort, which will interest eco-lovers, is Tau Santa Maria, a rustic-style resort on the shores of a lake in a dormant volcano northeast of Puerto Vallarta. The crystal-clear, mineral-rich lake waters are warmed by thermal currents and surrounded by lush vegetation. This pristine setting is a haven for nature enthusiasts, especially birdwatchers. On-site amenities include a restaurant, extensive gardens,
swimming pool, multiple water sports, and adventure-oriented activities.
Interval International has been in the vacation exchange business for 34 years and now has an exchange network of more than 2,500 resorts offering high-quality products and benefits to resort clients and approximately 2 million families who are enrolled in various membership programs.
