The campaign aims to encourage visitors to get more from what is on their doorstep
VisitBritain has launched its Cities Campaign, pointing out the various delights that cities such as London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Liverpool have to offer.
The initiative is looking to highlight contrasting themes of certain cities, such as Glasgow, which VisitBritain said offers both trend-setting and traditional treats for timeshare owners to enjoy.
According to the organisation, the city is Scotland’s style capital with its cool shops and art deco brasseries, but it also has a history that stretches back to the Stone Age.
Liverpool, meanwhile, offers timeshare owners the contrast of sound vs silence, with its vibrant music scene offset by the more sedate museums and galleries, which there are more of than in any other city outside of London.
VisitBritain has also joined forces with British Airways and easyJet to provide low-cost flights from 12 countries over Europe to ten cities across Britain.
Mary Rance, chief executive of UKinbound, recently said that the inbound tourism industry makes a great contribution to the UK economy.
