Colleagues at PR Agency Flagship Consulting which works with companies in the shared ownership industry will be running for charity in Hyde Park on September 11th.
Jackie Murphy, Casey Mead and Laetitia Redbond are taking part in the Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge in the royal London park to raise money for Malaria No More and to make the challenge just that bit harder, will be running under a mosquito net, with Malaria No More’s Executive Director Sarah Kline close on their heels as Mozzy Man.
Flagship’s managing director, Jackie Murphy, said, “This is a cause close to my heart and three years ago I climbed Kilimanjaro to raise enough money to equip a third of Tanzania’s hospitals with mosquito nets. I know a 5km run is less of a challenge but it is no less of a cause as there are still too many expectant mothers dying unnecessarily of malaria.”
Flagship has been working with the malaria community for over five years now, helping further the campaign to get more Sumitomo Chemical Olyset Bed Nets for communities in Africa’s sub-Saharan region.
Some of the team have not run before, so they’ll need all the support they can get. If you’d like to donate please visit their Just Giving Page http://www.justgiving.com/Team-Flagship-for-MNMUK
