Florida-based Club Meliá, the international vacation membership division of the Sol Melia Hotel Group has announced that its latest member resort, Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda, will open in mid-December on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
The new Club Meliá Member Resort features one and two-bedroom suites amidst an extensive family resort complex with 12 restaurants and 10 bars, free-from swimming pools and its own signature, 20,000-square-foot world-class Yhi Spa.
Paradisus is located under an hour’s drive from the Cancun International Airport on a sheltered cove complete with the region’s renowned pristine sand and turquoise water, close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants at bustling Playa del Carmen shops and is conveniently near to main attractions including the ancient world-famous Mayan archaeological sites at Tulum, Chichen Itza and Coba.
“We are pleased and proud to be expanding our member resort presence in the Mexican Caribbean, now adding to our popular properties in Cancun and Cozumel,” said Denis Ebrill, Executive Vice President of Club Meliá. “This gives our members yet more options and choices for their lifetime of vacations with us. Club Meliá at Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda will provide them with the opportunity to experience a spectacular new luxury resort to enjoy with their families.”
