More flights from London City Airport include new Faro service
Responding to high demand from London City Airport travellers, BA CityFlyer, a subsidiary of British Airways (BA) is increasing flights to Spanish holiday hotspots Malaga and Palma de Mallorca.
The flights are part of BA’s campaign to significantly boost Spanish routes from London City Airport during the summer season 2011.
BA will fly three times a week from LCA to Malaga starting June 8, and is increasing its services to Palma and Ibiza from four to ten flights a week in peak season, between July and September.
Flights on Fridays and Sundays from LCA to Palma will continue through October 31, enabling passengers to escape to Mallorca for the weekend, and will run during half term.
On June 7, BA’s first LCA to Faro flight will take off. Flight E90 will depart thrice weekly from LCA at 13.20, arriving in Faro at 16.15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sunday flight times are dep. 16.40, arr. 19.35 – just in time to arrive for dinner before hitting the Algarve’s golden beaches on Monday morning..
