If you’re planning to use your timeshare points for a honeymoon or special celebration abroad this winter or next spring/summer, now’s the time to book those flights if Cape Town, Las Vegas, Vancouver or Phoenix are on your dream destination list!
British Airways says it will offer First Class seats on some of its older Boeing 747s at up to 50% discounts starting this October, shortly before those aircraft are retired. If you’re a regular traveller on these routes, the reductions make choosing first class travel much more affordable. It’s an opportunity to treat yourself to a once in a lifetime luxury trip to enjoy your timeshare in some of the most popular destinations in the world.
Flights the reductions apply to are those departing London to Las Vegas, Vancouver, Phoenix and Cape Town from October 26 onwards. BA said the seats will only be available at this special discount for a short time until the Boeings are replaced with new aircraft and new first class “hardware”.
“As part of our investment in new aircraft, we are retiring a number of our 747-400s. Currently, a very small number in operation carry the old First cabin, which will be withdrawn next year,” said a spokesman.
“We have taken the decision to offer these First seats at Club World prices on selected routes.” The routes affected are BA 85/84 Vancouver; BA 275/274 Las Vegas, BA 289/288 Phoenix (during winter 2014 and summer 2015), BA 43/42 Cape Town winter 2014 and BA 59/58 Cape Town summer 2015.
