The Gleneagles Hotel, the luxury resort known for its superb golf offering and exclusive Seasonal Ownership programme has launched ESPA Life.
Now, guest and anyone who has shared ownership at the resort can unwind in 850 acres of Perthshire countryside and enjoy the enhanced spa experience, ESPA Life, during their stay at the Scottish estate.
The hotel’s expert team of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practitioners and spa therapists will create bespoke packages tailored to guests’ requirements, whether it’s simply to distress and recharge batteries, or target a sports injury or improve fitness levels.
Louise Westra is the skilled naturopathic practitioner who heads up the ESPA Life team. After an initial consultation, including wellness tests if required, guests are advised on supplements, lifestyle changes and receive the appropriate complementary and alternative medicine, fitness or spa therapies they require to work towards optimal health.
Patrick Elsmie, Gleneagles Managing Director, said: “We are hugely excited about the launch of ESPA Life, which will totally revolutionise the spa experience for our guests, taking it onto a whole new level. Guests will be able to create the perfect programme for them – whether it’s a one-off consultation, one of our set 4 or 7 day programme, or a plan set out over a period of months. This will help them to address their own personal lifestyle goals, from reaching their optimal weight, to helping them sleep better and de-stress, to improving sports performance, or simply having a body “MOT” in a nurturing and calming environment.
“Healthy eating options will soon be available in all restaurants – so you don’t have to compromise on the Gleneagles experience to make the most of ESPA Life.”
The ESPA Life specialists carry out specific wellness tests designed to help identify possible problems and test how well the body is functioning. Following this guests are recommended treatments from a whole plethora of lifestyle programmes that are available, offering something for everyone, including:
– Energy and vitality
– Health and fitness for 40+ women
– Fitness for selected sports
– Relaxation and stress
– Weight management
– Menopause, fertility & conception
– Corporate Medical support
Outdoors activities are a main part of the Gleneagles experience, too, which includes the Club’s indoor pool and gym, riding, cycling and, one of the highlights, golf.
