EasyJet passengers flying to or from France are being asked to check their flight status by the airline today due to a cabin crew strike in operation.
French cabin crew unions UNAC and SNPSC decided to walk out yesterday due to a dispute with the airline, and the action starts today.
EasyJet says it’s “taking every possible step” to ensure normal operations but added, “it is likely services from France will experience disruption with some significant delays”.
It still plans to operate as usual, however passengers would be well advised to check the status of their flights before leaving for the airport today.
The airline said: “EasyJet regrets that the unions have decided to disrupt customers while negotiations are underway and apologises for any inconvenience caused to them as a result of the unions’ action.”
