If a few rounds of golf under a blue sky sound appealing (while most of Europe freezes), Club La Costa World of Resorts & Hotels’ new resort in Turkey: Kusadasi Golf & Spa, opening on May 1, will hit the spot
A short drive from the lively seaside town of Kusadasi, this resort is the company’s first golf and spa development and there’s plenty to do even if you don’t know your birdies from your eagles and have never been near a golf ball.
Kusadasi itself is the port of call for cruise ships and private yachts – it’s a vibrant town with a choice of designer or artisan shopping, weekly market stalls, waterside restaurants and historic sights close by. The flavours of Turkey’s beautiful neighbour, Greece, are just a boat trip away – the island of Samos is visible across the water.
Because Kusadasi Golf & Spa is set on a hilltop at the edge of Dilek National Park, the views are literally breathtaking… green hillsides lead all the way down to the sparkling blue Aegean Sea.
The resort is water sport heaven: 11 outdoor pools, 3 heated pools, 8 children’s pools and Jacuzzis, plus tennis, volleyball, archery, minigolf, and also CLC World’s popular Team Marina arranging a daily activities programme.
Indoors is the gym, spa and authentic hammam and beauty salon, and if golf is on the menu the clubhouse for the adjacent 18-hole course, the only one in Kusadasi, is steps away.
The resort even has its own Atrium, a centre with shops, a mini-market, restaurant, pub with live entertainment, ice cream parlour, reception area and the spa and gym.
