Cruise Show Olympia: Explore, Dream, Discover

Cruise experts will be on hand to give advice and answer questions

This year’s Cruise Show at London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre on the weekend of March 27/28 promises to be a don’t miss event for cruise fans and anyone contemplating a cruise in the future. As a timeshare holiday option it continues to grow in popularity because there’s nothing quite like it – and with so many cruise lines offering so many varied itineraries, you’ll never be bored onboard.

American author Mark Twain’s quote has become a classic, and you’d be hard pressed to find a more apt one for the world of cruising: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bow lines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Cruise lovers can discover what’s new in the cruise world at this year’s Cruise Show sponsored by the Daily Telegraph. Cruise experts will be on hand to give advice and answer questions and visitors will be able to get the latest on new cruise ships, itineraries and meet exhibitors – all the information they’ll need before booking their next trip.

Some of the main sponsors are the Sultanate of Oman, fast becoming the new sought-after cruise destination with its stunning scenery and 5000 year history; Cruisecritic.co.uk, a resource website with news and views from cruise writers and a forum for cruise reviews; radio station Heart 106.2; and the glossy publications Cruise International, Food & Wine and World of Cruising.

Numerous cruise lines will be there, including Carnival, Celebrity, Costa, Crystal, Cunard, Fred Olsen, Galapagos Classic Cruises, Holland America, MSC, Nomads of the Seas, Norwegian, Oceana, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Saga, Silversea, Star Clippers, Swan Hellenic and Windstar – plus many more names from the cruise, hotel, spa and resort world.

Visitors will be able to meet leading journalists in the cruise industry, such as Jane Archer, Cruise Correspondent, Telegraph Travel; Steve Read, SKY Travel’s cruise expert; Douglas Ward, author of the Berlitz Guide To Cruising and Cruise Ships; and Carolyn Spencer Brown, Editor of Cruisecritic.co.uk.
Only visitors to the show will have access to special show-only offers and can enter to win a fantastic 9-night, all-inclusive cruise aboard Silversea’s Silver Spirit, a beautiful new ship that will take the lucky winner from Barbados to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November.
