  • With summer almost over, it’s this time of year when winter sun resorts come into their own. One place where sun is virtually guaranteed – even in winter while the rest of Europe freezes its woolly socks off - is Tenerife. Dry yet lush, warm but not sizzling, the island’s contrasting scenery makes it a visual paradise.

Technically located very close to the continent of Africa, the Canary Islands enjoy their own special climate which keeps them warmer and dryer than the Costa del Sol or the French Riviera in low season.

Traditionally one of the busiest destinations in the timeshare market, Tenerife’s resorts are well versed in catering for family holidays and Petchey Leisure has two main resorts on the island.
