If you’re looking to jet away this summer to your timeshare resort in Spain and the Balearic and Canary Islands, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
British Airways has revealed a number of new routes out of both London Heathrow and Gatwick Airport, starting this month.
BA already launched a new service last week from Gatwick to Barcelona, with three flights per day.
The airline will also launch 17 flights each week from Gatwick to the sunshine in Alicante, Spain, starting on 31 March. This will increase to 21 flights in July, August and September during 2013’s peak summer season.
Passengers looking to travel to the Canary Islands will also be able to enjoy BA’s new services from Gatwick. There will be two weekly flights to Lanzarote from 31 March and five flights each week to Tenerife from 1 April.
From the end of March, travellers will also be able to take advantage of new BA flights to Palma, in Majorca. The company is complementing its existing service from London City with two flights per week from Heathrow, starting on 31 March.
A new route to Ibiza is also due to be launched from Heathrow. British Airways will be running two weekly flights to the Spanish island from 27 April.
