Three new Greek destinations are among the new flights Monarch passengers will be looking forward to booking this summer, as the airline introduces scheduled take off slots to Preveza, Rhodes and Zakynthos (Zante).
New routes and extra flights for summer 2015 include the following departures from these main UK airports:
•Birmingham to Ibiza – up to 3x weekly flights
•Birmingham to Preveza – 1x weekly flight
•London Gatwick to Ibiza – up to 6x weekly flights
•London Gatwick to Rhodes – 1x weekly flight
•London Gatwick to Larnaca – 2x weekly flights
•London Luton to Zante – 2x weekly flights
•Manchester to Ibiza – up to 6x weekly flights
•Manchester to Rhodes – 1x weekly flight
2,000 additional scheduled flights have been added to Monarch’s entire network, with plenty of choice to its most popular destinations.
Monarch fans will be happy to hear the news as the increased frequencies to many of the best-loved hotspots mean more favourable take-off times in some cases and an expanded choice of timings that make getting away for a long weekend even easier.
Commenting on the enhanced network, Marisa Blasco Revenue and Network Development Director at Monarch said: “We recently underwent a strategic review of our network, looking closely at where our customers want to fly to, and when, as a result of this review we will operate flights to three new Greek destinations for summer 15; Preveza, Rhodes and Zante”.
She added: “The Summer ‘15 schedule offers more flights to our most popular destinations; better weekend flight times and the flexibility to book a short break or a mid-or longer length holiday.”
Travel trend experts are forecasting that Britons will be taking up to three holidays this year, one of them in many cases being a short break.
