Top golfer Justin Rose has been unveiled as British Airway’s latest brand ambassador.
The world number three golfer has signed an exclusive three-year partnership with the firm to become its Official Global Airline Partner.
The deal will see the British golfer – who has won four times on golf’s PGA Tour and has five career titles on the European Tour – support the airline’s global marketing activity by putting in personal appearances.
He will also back Flying Start, the airline’s charity partnership with Comic Relief.
Justin’s golf clothing will now feature the British Airways logo on his shirt collar, starting with the US Masters.
Justin said; “I’m delighted to be working with British Airways. Golf takes me all over the world, and as an athlete it’s really important to arrive feeling refreshed and ready to compete.
“The premium service provided by British Airways and its one world partners will be a great support with the busy season ahead and I’m proud to be an ambassador for my favourite airline.”
Abigail Comber, British Airways head of marketing, added: “We have a long standing history in supporting British sporting talent and I’m pleased that we are able to continue this through our partnership with Justin.”
