Your 60-second guide to spring in London

With the sun shinning and temperatures soaring above those of Greece we turn our focus to London and its hidden – and not so hidden – gems, in our 60 second guide.

Grab your sunnies, get out there and see the iconic English sites London has to offer!

City Centre Sites

This is by far one of the most iconic landmarks London has to offer. Make your way along the high level walkways where you’ll find spectacular views of the city.

From here, pop down the river to the newest addition of London’s skyline – the Shard, standing at 306 meters high. Or jump in a cab to Westminster to see the stunning Houses of Parliament.

All things British

Whilst in Westminster visit the most famous palace in the world. Not only does Buckingham Palace boast beautiful architecture, it offers numerous exhibitions throughout the year – last year featuring the Kate’s gorgeous wedding display.

We love the garden blooms in springtime – they’re the largest private gardens in London and they’re free to roam.

If gardens and perfectly pruned flowerbeds are your thing, take a boat down the Thames to Hampton Court Palace, the favourite royal palace of Henry VIII. Try and attempt the maze or maybe a game of tennis?

Evenings

After a long day, our favourite attraction London has to offer is the extensive theatre productions, whether it is Shakespeare’s Globe theatre or the vibrant West End.

With more shows that you can shake a stick at, we recommend popping along where glitter and lights are in abundance!

Kids

Don’t worry about London not being a break for the family, as it offers so many attractions for the young and not so young alike! From Madame Tussauds to London Zoo and the best seller: the Harry Potter studio tour in Leavesden.
