Turkey is one of the world’s fastest-growing holiday destinations and welcomed 35 million tourists last year alone, according to Turkey’s Tourist board.
Although everyone has heard of popular beach destination Bodrum with its famous castle overlooking the yachting marina, not many tourists will know that the country boasts 48 airports, hundreds of sandy white beaches, nearly 30 winter sports centres, and more than 40 official national parks.
Ali Egilmez, RCI’s affiliate manager in Turkey, said: “We are delighted to have welcomed 11 more resorts to our exchange network in Turkey this year, growing RCI’s network in the country to a total of 60 affiliated resorts.
“Turkey is a real growth area for the hospitality sector in the East, and it continues to attract increasing numbers of inbound visitors. Choice is the advantage that lies at the heart of the timeshare ownership value proposition and we are pleased that so many resort developers in Turkey recognise the benefits of timeshare operation as a business model and continue to strengthen our industry with each new affiliation.”
Timeshare owners can also enjoy a range of health treatments in Turkey – perfect for a warming winter lift – such as thermo-mineral baths, mud baths and hot spring treatments.
