£1 million ad campaign tempts Britons to visit France

 With its world-famous good food, great wines and historic cities just a short ferry ride away from the UK, France has long been one of Britain’s go-to holiday destinations.

And now, the country is set to get even more popular with British holidaymakers as the French Tourism board has launched a brand new £1 million advertising campaign.

Atout France’s 2013 campaign aims to encourage British tourists to visit country with the message there’s ‘More to Enjoy’ in France, and that’s something British timeshare owners have been doing for decades as France is one of Europe’s top timeshare destinations, thanks to its sun, sea and ski resorts and variety of regional offerings.

The campaign officially kicked off last month, with adverts across the London Underground, as well as in the national press and online.

The adverts aim to promote a fun and dynamic France for British visitors, one of the country’s main target markets.

The message ‘More to Enjoy’ is based on the notion that France is as cultural as it is interactive.

The campaign brings together 37 destination partners, including British carriers DFDS Seaways and CityJet, seven British tour operators and French international television channel TV5 Monde.
